Security is a great concern to MCCU. We are committed to keeping MCCU Online updated and secure.
There are a few precautions to which you, the member, should be aware of regarding ANY internet browsing you may do.
- Keep your passwords secure, and confidential.
- When on a secure page there should be a lock icon somewhere on the page. It may be in the address bar or in the outer frame, depending on your browser and its version. When you click the lock, it will show you information about the certificate from the website. The website Common Name (CN) should match the site you are visiting and validity dates should not be expired . If the website information differs, then do not use that site.
- Make sure you are applying operating system updates from your vendor (either Microsoft or Apple).
- Use security software (anti-virus, anti-spyware and firewall). Make sure it is set to automatically update and to do a scan of your computer at least once a week.

MCCU Online has been developed to function best with Microsoft Internet Explorer, Mozilla Firefox, Google Chrome and Apple Safari. We recommend that you always use the latest versions and patches to insure that your system cannot be compromised.
Multi-factor authentication is also required to ensure account information is not accessed by unauthorized users.
