Annual Save More Thoughtfully Promotion Underway at Marshall High School

MARSHALL, MICHIGAN – Through Friday, December 20, 2024, Marshall Community Credit Union (MCCU) is holding its "Save More Thoughtfully" promotion for Marshall High School (MHS) students and staff members. This annual event encourages MCCU members within the high school to make deposits at the CU in School branch, which is located in the MHS cafeteria.
For each deposit made through December 20th, MCCU will match the amount—up to $25—and donate the total proceeds to the school's LINKS and NEXUS programs.
“The NEXUS program pairs MHS students as mentors with students in the Secondary Functional Program, creating a supportive environment where they provide academic assistance, friendship, and social guidance,” said Samantha McClusky, a Special Education Teacher at MHS. “It’s a wonderful way for students to connect and help each other succeed.”
“We’re always excited for this promotion as the staff and students increase their deposits for this particular cause,” shared MCCU’s Financial Education Specialist, Laura Van Dyke. “This promotion resonates as it supports a program, and students, within MHS.”
