Grand Opening Week Prize Giveaway Official Rules

Eligibility: This giveaway is open to legal U.S. residents aged 18 years or older. MCCU employees and officials, as well as their families and household members are not eligible to win. NO PURCHASE NECESSARY.

Promotional Period: The promotion begins on July 8, 2024, at 9:00 a.m. and ends on July 12, 2024, at 2:59 p.m. EDT.

How to Enter: To receive one entry, individuals must stop into the Coldwater branch and talk with an MCCU representative during the promotional period. The Coldwater branch is located at 688 East Chicago Road, Coldwater, Michigan. Available in-branch only. By entering your name into the giveaway, you agree to be bound by these rules, any modifications thereof, and by all other rules imposed by MCCU.

Prize: The prizes for this promotion are:

  • A 52 Quart RTIC Ultra Lightweight Cooler, 15 Can Everyday Cooler, and 12 Ounce Travel Mug (Valued: $249.00)

The Prize is not transferrable and may not be substituted or redeemed for cash. However, MCCU reserves the right to substitute a prize of equal or greater value at its sole discretion.

Winner Selection: One winner for each prize will be selected randomly from eligible entries received during the promotional period. Odds of winning depend on the number of eligible entries received. A purchase will not increase your chance of winning. The winner will be announced during the Grand Opening and Ribbon Cutting Ceremony on Friday, July 12, 2024, at 3:00 p.m. Winners do not need to be present to win. If winners are not present, they will be notified via phone call and email on or about Monday, July 15, 2024. If the winner cannot be contacted within 14 days of the initial attempt, is found to be ineligible, or otherwise fails to comply with these official rules, an alternate winner will be drawn.

Additional Prize Considerations: The winner may receive and be required to complete any applicable IRS required information and may receive an IRS Form 1099-Misc.

Release of Liability: By participating in the promotion, entrants agree to release and hold harmless MCCU from any liability, loss, or damage arising out of participation in the promotion or the acceptance, use, or misuse of the prizes, or any harm resulting from the acceptance, possession, use or misuse of the Prize. Entrants waive the right to claim any damages whatsoever, including, but not limited to, punitive, consequential, direct, or indirect damages.

Rights Granted By You: Winner agrees to be photographed and/or videotaped for promotional purposes when collecting their prize. Except where prohibited by law, all entrants agree to allow use of their name, voice, photograph, likeness, and any other applicable information, in any medium of communication, including but not limited to print, internet, social media, radio, television and for any purpose without additional compensation.
