At MCCU, we believe in rewarding our members and making a difference in our community. Our Refer-A-Friend program lets you and your friends each earn $50 when they join—and gives you the option to donate your reward to a local charity, with us matching your donation dollar-for-dollar!

How It Works:

For Members (18 & Over)1:

  1. Refer a friend to join MCCU.
  2. When they open a Kasasa® checking account, you both get $50.
  3. Choose to:
  • Deposit your reward into your savings, or
  • Donate it to one of our local charitable partners, and we’ll match your donation!

For Youth Members (Ages 13–17)2:

  1. Refer a friend (ages 13–17) to join.
  2. When they open a regular checking account, you both get $50.
  3. Youth can also choose to donate their reward, and we’ll match it!

Important: If a youth (13–17) refers someone 18 or older, the referred member must open a Kasasa checking account to qualify.

If opening an account online, enter referring members name under Coupon/Promo Code.

    • 1Referrer who is 18 and older will receive $50 for each referral that results in a new membership account with a Kasasa® checking account being opened at Marshall Community Credit Union (MCCU). Funds will be deposited into referrer’s Primary Savings account within 30 days of the “new member” opening a Kasasa checking account. Should referrer designate their Refer-A-Friend reward as a donation to a charitable organization via MCCU, a form will be emailed to the member for completion. Only one referral will be awarded per new member. Any reward or monies received in association with this promotion may be subject to IRS reporting requirements. Recipients are responsible for any income tax liability, if applicable. Members must be in good standing to be eligible for this offer. MCCU is federally insured by the NCUA.
